Designed for those who have already completed the Safe Driving 1st Step course and have the objective of doing a “refresh” or a higher level course with new exercises. This course works on the techniques and the psychological attitude for a safe relationship with the car and the viability, with references to the themes of social responsibility and the “EcoDriving” techniques for reducing fuel consumption.

The first part of the course in the morning is dedicated to training drivers to specific attention to potential road hazards with the “Predictive Driving”.

In the second part of the course, in the afternoon, students will have to face two difficult situations of road danger such as “braking in a curve” and “aquaplaning”; subsequently, a part of driving in a track with speeds similar to those on motorways (max 110 Km / h), with dry and wet curves.
All the most advanced security systems are also tested. Final verification of classroom learning is foreseen.
All our courses can be attended by people with physical disabilities thanks to the SpecialMente program

  • THEORY. Interactive and multimedia: analysis of potential risk situations, use of eyes in traffic, demo video of Eye Tracking, defensive driving, “Commentary Drive”, EcoDriving, driving in difficult weather conditions, analysis of the speed factor and safety distance as a discriminant in choice of driving intervention, stress at the wheel. Illustration of the most advanced electronic driving assistance systems, technical developments for driving electric cars and Plug In, video analysis from our experience archive. Final assessment of classroom learning
  • PREDICTIVE DRIVING. First series of driving on the road: observation.
  • PREDICTIVE DRIVING. Second set of driving on the road: interventions.
  • Feedback in aula. Teoria con video da interno e da drone sugli esercizi del pomeriggio e sulla parte di guida nel percorso del Centro di Guida sicura.

  • BRAKING IN A BEND. Emergency braking when driving in a bend with subsequent obstacle avoidance. Even in the presence of ABS it is necessary to modulate the braking to avoid dangerous loss of grip on the rear axle, despite the presence of the CBC.
  • AQUAPLANING IN A BEND. Passing over a puddle on a bend can undermine the stability of the car: this exercise allows you to reproduce one of the biggest dangers of rain, Aquaplaning.
  • TECHNIQUES TRACK. Cornering errors often have the wrong use of driving techniques as their origin. Fundamental to safety is the braking technique, the correct use of the hands on the steering wheel, the reaction of the car to acceleration and to pull-release maneuvers in corners. Also important is the experience of speed.
  • TRAJECTORIES TRACK. The curves always represent a difficulty for driving and a potential danger. In this path, you train yourself to recognize them, to use your eyes, to evaluate speed and in the safest way to set a trajectory on both dry and wet roads.
